We are about to add Italian language to our system, simply did not happen so far because we had no time to contact the ITA-Community to confirm that #ita is the right tag.
No idea why the scanner mentioned you in #pt to be honest, but there must be some simularitys in language at some points at least. This will be solved anyway as soon as we know about the correct tag to mention for posts in Italian language.

Hard to start something for another community without having a talk first if things are not 100% clear.
If i (@schlees) remember correctly, i was reading a post "back in the days" where the ITA-Community had a problem with using #it (IT-Posts^^) and people decided to use #ita.
