How are my Hive friends? I hope you are doing well. I am happy today, since I realized that my old PC can run FIFA 10, one of the games that has marked my childhood, so I decided not only to play it for fun, but also to start a manager mode that I will be uploading here in Hive.
This was the first FIFA I played in my life and basically it was my start, not only in the games of this sport, but my start in soccer as such, in real life. Before this, I only played baseball, but once I got to know soccer, it became my passion.
With the season's uniform
As you can see, this is really where I started in this sport and I immediately chose my team, Barcelona since I was a kid hahaha. In love with that Barca of Iniesta, Xavi, Puyol, Messi, Henry, Ibra, etc etc. And even at that time they were not the best version of Barca, as Guardiola was not yet coach as I remember.
Now that I have already remembered a little of my start in this game and what it meant to me that stage of discovery, now my intention is to relive it a little with you, enjoying a manager mode in which I will set myself a very interesting challenge, playing with Exeter City of the 4th division of England.
As you can see, the squad is quite deficient and we only have 600,000 euros for transfers, so I must make the most of the few resources I have to adjust the team to the style of play I want to bring to the field. There will be players that need to be changed and perhaps some new ones brought in.
Besides, the squad is extremely large and it's no good having so many reserves. The best thing to do will be to get rid of those players who won't really have a chance and use the money to sign better talents or in some youth network, as I always bet on the youth system, although I don't remember how this works in FIFA 10.
I started by adjusting the formation to an attacking 4-3-3, to play with a 10, the old style of soccer that is no longer very common. Practically all teams nowadays play without a 10, as they are implementing a 3 all-rounder midfield.
I realized that I didn't have players according to the new playing positions, so I had to turn around the whole tortilla and start signing two wingers and an offensive midfielder. I also needed a new goalkeeper, because the one the team has is pretty bad hahaha.
I wanted to put on sale at once each of the players that I won't have, but apparently in FIFA 10 they don't allow more than 3 transactions simultaneously, so I have to wait for the other transactions to be completed before I can move on to the next ones, it's a tedious process.
I have been looking a bit at the financials of the team and I am really pleased with the expectations for the season. The income will be quite good and this would allow me to boost the club with good signings and improvements in personnel, as we need good coaches and negotiators if we want the club to emerge in the long term.
At the moment the expectation of the season set out by the board is to avoid relegation for the club, but I honestly believe that with the initial changes, we can fight for mid-table. I am ambitious and I believe I will have a good team to compete in this league.
The first friendlies are coming, which I chose myself and the rival teams accepted. Facing them will be a challenge considering that they have better squads than my team and I didn't even have time to set myself up before the first friendly, because literally the first friendly is on the first day of the manager mode. I have to face Crotone with the players I have and pray that I do well. I like challenges, so we're going to play on the highest difficulty, Legendary.
One of the things that I love about this FIFA and that I honestly did not remember, is that before each match they show you a report where they indicate the style of play of the opponent, so you can have an idea and be able to counter them. I hope this really helps me in my first match, as we see that Crotone is very defensive and apparently they play long.
The game started extremely intense and almost scored the first goal in the 5th minute of the match. The goalkeeper was perfect and took an interesting shot. Unfortunately for them, in the corner I put in a good cross and an excellent header that was going to the corner, the goalkeeper managed to touch it but it ended up being a goal, which I really don't know why they marked it as an own goal by the player Galeoto.
In the 16th minute I neglected my defenders and the striker escaped after a perfect pass between the lines. I scored the 1 - 1 with a shot to the goalkeeper's left corner. From then on the game was quite slow, having good chances to score, but the rival goalkeeper was very well positioned to prevent my team's second.
The whole preseason was very regular and the board was not at all happy with the expected results. So far I have not been able to sign any player, since no offer I have made has been accepted, I do not understand why, if in fact I offer more money than the value of the player, it is strange.
The league has already started and I have two draws and one win. Even so, we are second to last in the table for now. I need to get good results in the following games, but I'm having a hard time reaching the goal of the rivals, I'm already rusty hahaha.
I hope I can move the team forward in the following matches and solve the transfer issue, I will have to read some articles about FIFA 10 or watch a video that talks about it. I hope you liked my post, best regards to all ✌.

¿Como están mis panas de Hive? Espero que se encuentren muy bien. Yo hoy estoy feliz, ya que me di cuenta de que mi antigua PC puedo mover el FIFA 10, uno de los juegos que mas ha marcado mi infancia, así que decidí no solo jugarlo por diversión, sino también iniciar un modo manager que iré subiendo aquí en Hive.
Esté fue el primer FIFA que jugué en mi vida y básicamente fue mi inicio, no solamente en los juegos de este deporte, sino de mi inicio en el fútbol como tal, en la vida real. Antes de esto, solo jugaba beisbol, pero una vez conocí el fútbol, se convirtió en mi pasión.
Con el uniforme de la temporada
Como ven, realmente acá fue mi inicio en este deporte e inmediatamente elegí a mi equipo, el Barcelona desde pequeño jajaja. Enamorado de ese barca de Iniesta, Xavi, Puyol, Messi, Henry, Ibra, etc etc. Y aún en ese momento no eran la mejor versión del Barca, ya que aún no entraba Guardiola como técnico según recuerdo.
Ahora que ya he recordado un poco de mi inicio en este juego y lo que significó para mi esa etapa de descubrimiento, ahora mi intención es revivirla un poco con ustedes, disfrutando de un modo manager en el que me pondré un desafío bastante interesante, jugando con el Exeter City de la 4ta división de Inglaterra.
Como ven, la plantilla esta bastante deficiente y solo tenemos 600.000 euros para transferencias, así que debo aprovechar al máximo los pocos recursos que tengo para ajustar el equipo al estilo de juego que deseo que se lleve en el campo. Habrá jugadores que haya que cambiar y traer quizás alguno nuevo.
Además la plantilla es sumamente grande y no me sirve tener tantos reservas. Lo mejor será deshacerme de aquellos jugadores que realmente no tendrán oportunidad y usar el dinero para fichar mejores talentos o en alguna red de juveniles, ya que siempre apuesto por la cantera, aunque no recuerdo como funciona este tema en el FIFA 10.
Inicié ajustando la formación a un 4-3-3 ofensivo, para jugar con un 10, el estilo de futbol antiguo y que ya en este momento no se observa mucho. Prácticamente todos los equipos en la actualidad juegan sin un 10, ya que están implementando un fútbol con 3 mediocampos que sean todoterreno.
Me di cuenta de que no tenía jugadores acordes a las nuevas posiciones de juego, así que tuve que voltear toda la tortilla y ponerme a fichar dos extremos y un mediocampo ofensivo. Además me faltaría un portero nuevo, porque la verdad el que tiene el equipo es bastante malo jajaja.
Quería poner en venta de una vez cada uno de los jugadores con los que no contaré, pero aparentemente en el FIFA 10 no permiten realizar mas de 3 transacciones en simultaneo, así que tengo que esperar a que las demás transacciones se completen para poder pasar a las siguientes, es todo un proceso tedioso.
Estuve revisando un poco el tema financiero del equipo y realmente es satisfactoria la expectativa que se tiene para la temporada. Los ingresos serán bastante buenos y esto me permitiría poder impulsar al club con buenos fichajes y mejoras en el personal, ya que necesitamos buenos entrenadores y negociadores si queremos que el club surja a largo plazo.
Por el momento la expectativa de la temporada planteada por la directiva es la de evitar el descenso del club, pero sinceramente creo que con los cambiamos iniciales, podemos pelear por la mitad de la tabla. Soy ambicioso y creo que tendré un buen equipo armado para poder competir en esta liga.
Se vienen los primeros amistosos, los cuales elegí yo mismo y los equipos rivales aceptaron. Enfrentarlos será todo un desafío teniendo en cuenta que poseen mejores plantillas que la de mi equipo y nisiquiera tuve tiempo de poder armarme antes del primer amistoso, ya que literalmente el primer amistoso es en el primer día del modo manager. Me toca enfrentarme al Crotone con los jugadores que tengo y rezar por que me vaya bien. Me gustan los desafíos, así que vamos a jugar en la máxima dificultad, Legendario.
Una de las cosas que me encanta de este FIFA y que no recordaba sinceramente, es que antes de cada partido te muestran un informe donde se indica el estilo de juego del rival, para así tener una idea y poder contrarrestarlos. Espero esto me ayude realmente en mi primer partido, ya que vemos que el Crotone es muy defensivo y aparentemente juegan en largo.
El partido empezó sumamente intenso y casi marco el primer gol en el minuto 5 de partido. El portero estuvo perfecto y sacó un disparo interesante. Lamentablemente para ellos, en el corner metí un buen centro y un excelente cabezazo que iba a la escuadra, el portero la logro tocar pero termino siendo un gol, que realmente no se por qué lo marcaron como en propia puerta del jugador Galeoto.
En el minuto 16 descuide a mis defensas y se escapo el delantero luego de un pase perfecto entre líneas. Me marcaron el 1 - 1 con un disparo a la esquina izquierda del arquero. A partir de allí el partido fue bastante lento, teniendo buenas chances de gol, pero el arquero rival estuvo muy bien colocado para impedir el segundo de mi equipo.
Toda la pretemporada fue muy regular y la directiva no estuvo nada contenta con los resultados esperados. Hasta el momento no he podido fichar a ningún jugador, ya que ninguna oferta que he hecho ha sido aceptada, no entiendo el por qué, si de hecho ofrezco mas dinero del valor del jugador, es raro.
Ya la liga ha iniciado y llevo dos empates y una victoria. Aún así, estamos de penúltimos en la tabla por ahora. Necesito sacar buenos resultados en los siguientes partidos, pero me esta costando mucho llegar al arco de los rivales, ya estoy oxidado jajaja.
Espero poder sacar adelante el equipo en los siguientes partidos y resolver el tema de los traspasos, voy a tener que leer algunos artículos sobre FIFA 10 o ver un video que hable sobre el tema. Espero les haya gustado mi post, un saludo para todos ✌.
