This is Amburayan bridge that serves as a link to places going further north of the Island of Luzon, Philippines and it connects the provinces of Ilocos Sur (northern side) and La Union (southern side). The bridge is named after the river where it is stands and epic says that it is where Lam-Ang, an Ilocano legendary hero unintentionally killed the fishes and other creatures that thrives in the water when he took a bath to the river to clean himself from dirt and blood that he acquired after having a battle with head hunters.
Took this a day ago aboard a moving vehicle after attending a birthday celebration of my wife's nephew in Ilocos Sur as I mesmerized by the view of the landscape that can be seen from both side of the bridge.
