Lots of stuff is almost ready to harvest. For today we settled on dandelion.20171020_150404.jpg

Taraxacum officinale - I harvest and dry the root. Roast it grind it and put in with fresh ground coffee for great morning drink. I also make dandelion tincture with the root. Dandelion has been long used for keeping the liver healthy along with many other benefits.

While dandelion is pretty hard to over pick remember not all plants are like that. Wild craft responsibly! Never take more than 25% and try to find substitute herbs for endangered plants.
