But as long it is available (and I think it will stay available at least this week) buying it directly would still be better/cheaper, no matter what the price will be in a few months.

I see 4 reasons for buying LBI with Hive at the moment:

1. People who don't even know you can buy it directly at the moment.
2. People who want it immediately and not in "0-24 hours".
3. People who are afraid that they get a "Sorry, we're out of tokens at the moment. You were to late. Here, you have your Leo back!" (fomo)
4. Lazy People (2,08 Hive or 2,15 Hive? I don't care! It will be 5 Hive next year and buying via Leo is much more laborious!)

I think your point was reason 3 and a bit of 4?
