The more beautiful your hair is, the more beautiful you appear. Getting the hair, lashes, and nails done is also a form of self-love for ladies, aside from brain-feeding activities, exercising, and reducing weight in a healthy manner.
We should not be too hard on ourselves. We should pamper and celebrate ourselves now and then because no one knows what it takes to be who we are. We spent long days and shorter nights. It is okay to go an extra mile but being too hard on yourself could lead to unstable mental health. A relaxing day for yourself or doing what you long to do for weeks, months or years is like a therapy to maintain your sanity. So, what are you waiting for? Go ahead, pamper yourself and come back with a fresh mind. Trust me when I say that you will be more productive than you think you are. ๐
This was the most awaited day for Rich, Nins and Jessa (from

When they arrived at the Hair Salon, there were a lot of clients waiting for their turn. They thought that maybe due to the December Promo, other women decided to treat themselves as well. The girls had to wait a long time for their turn for a hair makeover. Despite of the long wait, they just felt themselves at home since the Salon offers free tea and coffee for the clients. It somehow felt refreshing to drink something while waiting for your turn.
The three ladies chose the hair color + highlights service. The hairstylist has to choose some strands of the hair to bleach and highlight it first, cover it with foil and then, let it stay for more or less than 3 hours. After that, they will rinse the hair and put hair color on the entire hair, including the bleached part. You have to wait for another 3 hours for the hair to completely absorb the color. See how hilarious they look after the foiling/ bleaching process. Hahaha
While Rich was on her turn for the hair makeover, Nins and Jessa had their lashes done. As per expert's advice, they have to close their eyes for an hour. Rich was envious of them as they slept soundly like sleeping beauty. She could not avail the lashes lift service yet since she still has to wait for the bleach to seep into her hair while resembling grown Simba. Lol
Fast forward to Rich being in a hurry because she still needed to travel to Sogod, Northern Cebu, for a personal purpose. The hair stylists hurriedly rinsed off her hair but they were unable to blow dry it due to a lack of time, as it was already around 9 p.m. She left the salon in a hurry with her hair dripping wet. She seemed to be fleeing out the door like a "basang sisiw" or wet chick. ๐
On the other hand, can you guess what happened to Nins and Jessa? Did they depart the Salon as well?
Well, the answer is, they did not leave the Salon. They were eager to get their hair done, regardless of how long it would take. ๐
After waiting in the salon for several hours, they were almost unable to get a hair makeover because it was already late, and they had to close about 10 p.m. Fortunately, the salon owner, Jess Labares, herself and hairstylist were so gracious that they extended their time just to finish Jessa and Nins' hair. ( So, at that particular moment, the two ladies felt like VIPs and as if they owned the salon. HAHAHA ) Her generosity astounded and moved the two ladies. She was very dedicated to her business and very hands-on with it. Nins and Jessa got free food and drink from Jess Labares' mother at the time. She was also really kind to both ladies, despite the fact that we were only clients of their salon.
Fun fact: they finished about three o'clock in the morning, believe it or not. Yes, 3 a.m., you read it correctly. Literally, Tiis Ganda (suffers for beauty) it is ๐
Overall, the service and lengthy hours spent in the Salon were well worth it because it transformed them into being more beautiful than they had ever been. Now, braced yourselves as you take a peek at how they looked before and after the makeover.

The ladies realized towards the end of this blog that self-love is much more than merely beautifying oneself, buying tangible items, and achieving a long-standing desire. It is, however, a form of self-appreciation. Appreciating oneself can empower us to start thinking differently. It help us in a way to boost our self-esteem and live life in an optimistic perspective. So do not feel bad about investing in yourself. Because no one is capable of spoiling you as much as you do.โฅ๏ธ
