Welcome to My Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge, Hi Splinters, I'm Lagnarok, and I tried to share and submit my Weekly battle challenge. Sometimes not easy to decide with only one splinter available, and the worst part is only small mana caps and annoying rule sets. This is the story of an Insignificant Ant that does an unexpected thing in battle.

Ant Miner Synopsis

Kobolds have long been considered the most skilled miners in the land. Their small stature and inherent bravery allow them to squeeze into small and risky spaces, and they are very good with tools. Recently, however, the Kobolds have dug too deep into the crust beneath the Molten Mountains. This has allowed an undiscovered race of Fire Ants to breach the surface. These Ants are each about the size of a man’s fist, not large enough individually to pose a threat to anyone, but they are very good at teamwork, and they operate through a shared hive mind. The Ant Miners carry tiny tools, which they use to enhance their already-formidable digging skills. An Insignificant Ant

The Battle happened in Silver League Wild Format in Ranked Match. Today the battle detail are Armored Up and Fire & Regret rule sets, with 18 mana caps allocation, and Fire Splinter only. With so limited Mana allocation, I decided to use Yozin Zaku even though this Legendary Summoner would cost me 7 mana, leaving me with 11 mana needed to spend. But, Fret not. I have a perfect solution with this little mana.

Summoner	+1 Range, +1 Hit Point, Blast	Yodin Zaku is a legendary summoner from the Untamed Expansion pack for Fire Splinter. With his Blast ability, every monster will be able to hit enemies with splash damage and not make targets suffer but near them too. This is the reason why Yodin Zaku is one of the best Summoners.
Main Tank	No Ability	Scorch Fiend is a legendary monster for Fire Splinter, even though this monster only has 1 hit point, but to use this monster, you need to consume no mana, which makes this monster cannon fodder.
Second	No Ability	I place Furious Chicken in the second position to put another cannon fodder on my line-up. There is no need to worry, and this chicken consumes no mana.
Third	Scavenger	Ant Miner isn't your average Ant, even though this Ant consumes 2 mana, 1 Attack, 2 Speed, 1 Armor, and 2 Hit point, I believe Ant Miner is the perfect tank for my line-up since this Ant Miner hit points will grow +1 every time a monster die be it from our line up or enemy line up.
Fourth	Slow	Creeping Ooze is a Reward series monster for a neutral splinter. Even though this monster has low Hit points and damage, this Creeping Ooze ability is annoying enough for enemy monsters that reduce -1 Speed. I decide to use this just in case the enemy with sneak or opportunity abilities strikes this monster first.
Fifth	Weaken, Slow	Goblin Monster is from the Beta expansion pack, and this is a magic-type common monster with annoying abilities which Weaken and Slow. I decided to use this to weaken down enemy's monsters hitting point -1 each and slowing them down to -1 speed to ensure I would be the first turn in the battle.
Sixth	No Ability	The last or Sixth position is Djinn Apprentice, this monster from the Chaos legion expansion pack. I decided to use this for 2 reasons; first, this monster has a very high magic attack and decent hit points, and this is the only one I have within my collection with 5 mana left and a magic-type monster.

Round 1: The Beginning

After a series of buff and unbuffed from both parties, The First Round opened with the enemy's Serpentine Spy attack target Scorch Fiend but only expensed its Armor as Djinn Apprentice targeted the enemy's Cerberus; as a result enemy furious chicken died because of blast damage, and Ant Miner collected the Chicken Soul.

Scorch Fiend repays Serpentine Spy's attack with target Cerberus but fails to do anything significant, and Cerberus hits Scorch Fiend in return and eliminates it as Scorch Fiend's soul is collected by the Ant.
After Scorch Fiend was eliminated, Furious Chicken became a tank and died soon later without doing anything after the Goblin Shaman enemy targeted it.
Uraeus and Kobold Miner joined hands and decided to sneak attack Djinn Apprentice and left dying with 1 hit point left, while Ant Miner tore down Cerberus and Goblin Shaman Armor and this end of round 1.

Round 2

Serpentine Spy tried to kill Creeping Ooze but hold by its armor, while Djinn Apprentice tried to kill Cerberus but failed, but with Blast ability enemy's Goblin Shaman died, and the Ant collected its soul.

Following Djinn, Goblin Shaman attacked Cerberus and Killed it. Ant Miner and Kobold Miner attack each other while Uraeus Kills Djinn Apprentice, and Djinn's soul is collected.

Round 3

Serpentine Spy success kill Creeping Ooze, Ooze's soul is collected, and Goblin Shaman avenges Creeping Ooze, attacks Kobold Miner, and kills Serpentine Spy killed by the Blast ability, and Serpentine Spy's soul is collected.

Uraeus tried to sneak Goblin Shaman but only injured him, and Kobold Miner and Ant Miner exchanged blows while Goblin Shaman tried to kill Kobold Miner but failed.

Round 4 - 5: END

Round 4 started with Goblin Shaman killing Kobold Miner, and Ant Miner collected its soul while Ant Miner and Uraeus exchanged blows.
Round 5 is the end after Goblin Shaman killed Uraeus later.

Did my Strategy Work?

Yes, It's Work Perfectly, and everything is according to my expectation. With Armor Up and Fire & Regret Ruleset, the most ideal to use is Magic-type monsters. I decided to combine Yodin Zaku with Magic-type monsters so my Line-up could penetrate any Armor since I cannot use Range-type monsters and Ant Miner as a tank to collect every soul and Upgrade its Hit Points.
