my blog. I made a cross โ bracelet today, with nice colours ๐จ. It took a whole lot of time but it really worth it. You can make it with the length of thread you want and even any colour of beads good to you ๐๐พ. The materials I used to make the bracelet were;
Blue Seed Beads (A)
Gold Seed Beads (B)
Beading Thread ๐งต
Beading Needle ๐ชก
Lobster Clasp ๐ฆ๐งท
Jump Ring ๐๐พโโ๏ธ๐
Scissors โ๏ธ
Plier
I'll pick up 4 A beads and go through the last one to form a little cross โ (I will leave few inch of thread as the trail thread).
I will now pick up 1 A bead and go through the following beadโฆ I will continue till I get a square ๐ฒ "with a hole in the middle". At one edge of the square ๐ฒ I will pick up 2 A and go through the other edgeโฆ till I've gone round. I will go to the top of one cross โ tip and pick up 2 A beads and go through the following beads, when I get to the inner edge, I will take up one B bead and go through 2 A beads and pick up 2 A's and go through 2 A's, pick up 1 B and go through 2 A's.
When I am done, I will add one B to the 4 tops of the cross โ. To make the cross very noticable, I will pick up 3 B and go through all the B's I have. Doing that one every side, I will get a blue cross with gold frame. I did this 4 times. After making the cross,I will cut the trail thread.
Now, I will take enough thread and, pick up 10 B beads and 4 B beads putting the lobster Clasp ๐ฆ๐งท between the 4 and go through the 4 [I did this at one end of this thread]. I will go through the bead (the thread path is in the picture below ๐๐พ) and take 10 beadsโฆ I will continue the process till I get my desired length then I will take 4 beads and do the exact thing I did at the beginning of the work.
