My graduation event was very special. As I always say, life's experiences are unrepeatable because each one brings its own feelings. If you wanted to repeat those moments it would be almost impossible, it wouldn't be natural or spontaneous. That is why we should not ignore those moments or opportunities as if they were not important. Life itself is a learning that leaves indelible marks. The good and the bad are part of our learning. Obtaining an academic degree with sacrifice makes us value much more what we have obtained. Someone said "If you are not willing to learn, nobody can help you, but if you have the determination to learn, nobody will stop you."
My son Gabriel, my husband and my person were the first three in the group. We had many challenges with the electricity and the internet, since we studied everything online. Transportation was the hardest part because we had one class weekly in an institution. We had to travel for an hour to the place. God always answered our prayers and we can say we saw miracles because we always got to the class on time. You know that the political situation in Venezuela is very controversial.
Now we are accepting the challenge to study a career at BYU-Idaho University. My husband wants to study automotive technology applied to business, my person wants to become a professional genealogist and my son is deciding between two careers. I invite you to accept learning as a vital part of life. We will always have the opportunity to use the knowledge we have acquired in life. There are also people around us who may need help, who we can help when the opportunity presents itself. Remember that when you decide to study you are part of a hidden crowd that decided to come out to light no matter how old you are.
We enjoyed an act full of spirituality and joy. We sang a love song to the people present, and we expressed small speeches of the experience obtained in the studies. I was very surprised that everyone took pictures of us and applauded until they got tired. What I felt there I had never felt it in my life, and I don't think it will happen again.
