Oh hang on, you're already there! 😉" indeed already there, if I ever visit Australia, I will let you say it to me and I wont do anything mean (only because I know it would be a joke). And yes, the other I say it with such a huge smile on my face and it makes them sooo mad, always waiting for the opportunity to say it to someone.

I often hear racist jokes against natives in the smoke pit at work so one day on the first snow. I walked in there casually and said with a strait face. "You know what I hate about snow? It's white and all over my land" I said that to a bunch of white guys, the were not impressed but they don't say native jokes anymore when I'm around. Sometimes people just need to know what it feels like and they understand that racial jokes can be hurtful(there is still land disputes and bitterness over the land thing in Canada so it does kinda sting when natives say stuff about stolen land, some of the land was stolen from Indigenous so they are not wrong either) . There is quite a few natives in my line of work so over the years rather than get mad we just sensitized them as to what is ok and what isn't. Sometimes people just don't realize because they were conditioned to think the way they do. That goes for the racialized too that choose to allow it to keep them down.

I agree people are subjected to prejudice all the time like you say those with disabilities. It's no easier or fair either but they find a way to make it work. I agree, forge ahead and prove them wrong. Many communities use it as an excuse as to why they are not "allowed" to do well. Some have a prejudice mind while others embrace diversity, might take a few tries to find those that welcome it but not everyone is an asshole! Go where you thrive and never mind the rest. Unless if it's physicals attacks, now that's just wrong... ugly words don't really bother me, I just give it right back.

Indeed people can do nasty things to each other even in the same race. I think people need to make the decision to just be kinder to one another overall. The world is hard enough on it's own, it's easier if we all make an effort to be nice.
