we do some weird shit as kids, good thing you are ok!! Sad day for your watch and bike tho 😥
I used to live in The Appalachian range, on top of a mountain. You could put a truck on Neutral and reach 70km/h and make it back up the hill to the driveway without adding gas, going neutral all the way. I decided it would be fun to try that on rollerblades and all my friends lived on that road, thought it would be funny. Turns it there is no stopping and I used up ALL of the breaks. Keeping your balance is one thing but being on a narrow road with an oncoming vehicle is a bit scary. I panicked looked around at a quick solution, a rose bush ahead looked like a soft enough landing compared to a car so I maneuvered right over the gravel sidewalk and into the rose bush to stop myself. Needless to say, I had massive road rash and was picking thorns out for quite some time after. Sounded like a cool idea tho!
