It's good for that, living across the country I can relate it's good to keep up with friends. I don't use the feed too much because yes, it's mostly paid garbage but I do chat with my friends quite a bit and do interact in a few discussion groups with like interests. It's shallow but not as much as some here think. It's just not their crowd and that's ok.

Yes it does still feel very experimental, it actually is tho and if it can work this place could blow minds right out, of course we are a few years away from that but the potential is there and so is the passion.
