You know what, that's the important part, DO IT FOR YOU. I know they preach community, engagement, do this do that...bla bla bla. Don't get me wrong, yes it's the recipe for success but it becomes exhausting on an individual, considering many of us live where we can't support ourselves on our blog probably have a full time job or two, kids or grand kids, a house to clean. It's a lot and it takes a toll. If you are burned out, at least for me...I can tell in my posts and my interactions and find my content poo poo so when I disconnect and recharge then I can have better quality interactions on the platform. I feel bad to leave hive and my readers behind when I'm gone but I come back better.

Your post look like they take quite some time to write, sometimes even just creating the content is a full shift. For me 3h drive, probably 6- 20 km hiking on foot lugging 20lbs of equipment thru the mountains. Come back go thru all the photo's do my additional research, write...that's probably 8 to 10 hours for me right there (I lollygag too but...) so a lot really goes into the 10 minute read everyone sees but a lot don't see the work that is behind it. I can't do that everyday!

When your kids are all grown up, they are going to have your story to read, that's priceless. The hive is a nice bonus! I'm undecided what are my goals with mine, all I know is it took me 3 and half years to get a third of a month's rent worth, it's better off staying in here a little while longer. 😂😋😂 It's a nice side bonus savings account with decent interest for now, better rate than what any bank would give.
