Wow, such a great piece of art and an even better story behind it. Seems it has created a mini-boom for the community. I like to hear stories like that, I'm glad it's becoming mainstream around the world. It brightens up the community and have less stray tagging on buildings here along with boosting niche tourism, they have guided tours too . Edmonton is fairly young so there isn't much for historical, walls that get painted are donated buy communities and business and apartment owners, nothing is defaced.
