well I didn't take that shot, @silvergingerman did. The joke was when I try to take pictures of the wildlife sometimes I end up wearing it.

They are soo hard to shoot indeed. Plus they move around so much. This one, the wings are deep blue on the inside, and I chased that thing around for over an hour like a dog with a bone trying to get a pic of the colors. Was worth it tho.

Goooo! Asap it's so cool. I don't know about that specific one but we went to the U of A botanical gardens & exotic butterfly house (it's part of a university collection & ecological type studies or research). They are more social and land on people or stick around long enough to have a good mini session. Anyways, we're kinda brokish so no mountain vacay instead we got a year membership so it can be our staycay instead. There is a river near by where we can go gold panning for fine crumbs, or for the most part just sit in the river and cool off lol.
