Haha I'm in the in between year where I don't fit in either millennial or gen x so I insert myself in both having values and challenges that are a mix of both and try to create links between the two. I consider myself more on the millennial side of things tho. Over here, everything wrong with a dying economy is our fault because we don't get jobs that pay enough or have any interest in "old school" way of doing things.
I'm not saying gold and silver is the holy grail but from analyzing the value of our currency from the time it was debased in the late '60's, it has outperformed and maintained it's value better than fiat dollar. Certainly good to maintain purchase power of long term savings and thru times where our Canadian dollar devalues compared to other currencies like the US dollar. It's worth to at least research. The current fiat system isn't sustainable anymore. Keep in mind precious metals are still a commodity and subjected to price fluctuation based on supply and demand or price fixing from large banks.
RE: If a 12 year old can figure it out, why can't the rest of Canadians?
