Seven a.m. comes early.
Fog rolls in as we enter the river and motor under the next “fixed” bridge and navigate towards St. Augustine. The sun comes out and it’s a beautiful day!

St. Augustine. Claim to fame, Founded in 1565 by Spanish explorers, it is the oldest continuously occupied European-established settlement within the borders of the continental United States. We moored the boat, took the dinghy in, to explore the quaint downtown.
Exploring the city at night was great. The canons in the square (park) had a history as did the cobble stone/brick streets winding through the shops. From high-end jewelry and clothing to unique gifts and treats, to great bars and restaurants, you could find it there.
After having ice cream (way over priced) it was time to go. The dingy captain didn’t have lights on his dinghy, so we used our phones to provide some trail of light back, so we wouldn’t collide with other travelers in the water! What a dork, no lights for night. Can you say “illegal”?
