Good day! In one of my recent posts we looked at the male Lapland Longspur. Today I present to you the female of the species. She is nowhere near as bright as the male counterpart, but such is the life of a sexual dimorphic species!
Next up is a Loon of... some sort... These guys are smart and must be hunted or at least aware of what a firearm is because the second I crouch to take a photo, when they are at a good range, and bring the camera up to my eye they always dive. It is VERY annoying.
And finally, we have a baby Golden Plover. Not sure if this is a male or female. We were walking the dog when we came across this specimen, so we leashed the dog before she spotted it, took a few snapshots and left before it got scared enough to flee.
