I started late, but so far I've made 3 posts in 3 days. 2 of those were pure milk though and I feel dirty treating Steem that way so I'm working on upping the quality of my #milkandtators. Since I'm having fun in VR at the moment, I figured tomorrow I'll try and start uploading a playthrough of a VR game as my milk and take my time to grow create some potatoes better content.
I saw that downvote thread and your discussion with the author within, and I agree that you cannot account for the total randomness of people. Some downdoots just aren't going to make any sense and it's best to just duck your head down and move on. People are weird. I'm sure when I get hit by my first big downvote I'm going to be upset, but I won't be making a post about it. I do worry that it could be used to brigade people off the platform over trivial things but I feel like if that was what was happening more people would be concerned about it.
