One of the creatures I most miss from the south are the Ground Squirrels. I love the noise they make and seeing them standing at attention looking for predators. I think there is a species of Ground Squirrel here in Nunavut, but I worry the loose dogs on our island may have diminished their numbers making them harder to find.

I noticed you took the shots with a Sigma 150-600mm. I just purchased one for myself and am eagerly awaiting its arrival.
