I haven't done much ice fishing up here, but it does look like fun. The Inuit do a lot of netting over the deep winter, but come spring it's time to head to the lakes for some jigging action!
Someone else mentioned before,
For me, the appeal of fishing lies in spending time outdoors in nature, enjoying the peacefulness of the lake or river.
And I ask, what makes the snow and ice a less peaceful and natural experience? 😄
