Not yet. we've had a few good nights where they were dancing and swirling so low it felt like you could reach out and touch them, but so far they've been fairly rare. The veteran teachers that have been up here for a few years said that the end of February and March sometimes has some wicked auroras. I believe the sun is in a low state of activity on its solar cycle which I think is 7 or 11 years long :/ Ahh well.

Oh, fun fact, we're so far north the majority of the northern lights are to our south or directly above our heads :D The stars have been absolutely amazing though. Especially when the moon also disappears below the horizon. I am definitely going to be shipping up a telescope for next winter.
