My Dogs

Hello, it's been a while since I've showed my dogs off on Hive so I thought I'd do that again. I've got two lovely girls with very different personalities. One is hyper as frig, and the other is a big old lazy bones. I love them both dearly and they make me and my wife laugh daily.

Millie (Moo)

Millie is our first dog, she is a chocolate Labrador that we got from a farm in Saskatchewan. She's almost 3 years old now, and has spent most of her life above the arctic circle. Millie, or Moo-Moo as we usually call her, is the lazy dog.

Hehe "The quick black fox jumps over the lazy brown dog."

Shadow (Shoe)

Shadow is our 1 year old Chihuahua/Husky cross. Or at least that's what she was given to us as. Personally I'm not a fan of Chihuahuas so I'm happy that she retains none of their traits. She's not an ornery asshole that snaps at you. Nor does she have the big bulbous head and short snout of a chi. She's quite the pretty lady!

What she does have is unlimited energy! Shadow (or Shoe-Shoe) does not stop. She doesn't have an "off" switch. She is go-go-go constantly. Her favorite games are stealing whatever toy Millie shows interest in and then hopping over her back with it. She also enjoys skidding into walls to stop herself as she races around the house at full speed.

I love both my dogs very much and would love to get more if it didn't mean flying with 3 dogs when the max allowed on a flight is 2. We will just have to make the most of our two wonderful dogs. Winter is coming soon and then Shadow will be able to come on the snowmobile runs with me and Mille!
