Hello everyone. It’s been a couple weeks since i last posted here on Faces Of Hive. Yesterday it was my birthday so i thought it would be fun to see my evolution in selfies. It’s funny cause i can see a few changes, for example i don’t have as much hair as i used, which is kind of sad, but there are more important things than looks, so i’m ok with it.
These are selfies that take me back to some great times in my life. From 2013 to 2020. It’s so crazy to see how time flies but i love to recognize the inside changes in me. Just like a song that reminds you of your first love of your first heartbreak, these selfies take me back to some of the most special moments of my life. From love to exile, heartbreak or feeling completely lost. All of these things that make me how i am as a unique individual.
I wouldn’t change a thing. These moments are gone now but the memories will stay with me forever. If i could a soundtrack to how i feel today i would say that’s Queen’s These Are The Days Of Our Lives, a song that i can completely relate to. That part where Freddie goes:
“Those are the days of our lives
The bad things in life were so few
Those days are all gone now but one thing is true
When I look and I find I still love you”
It always gets to me cause you can hear the emotion in his voice, in a way he was saying goodbye cause he most likely knew he wouldn’t have too much time left to live. It’s all about this moment. It’s great to look back, but it’s even better to treasure what we have today, and with my own ups and downs i’m happy to see where i stand today. I’m proud of myself and everything i have overcome. Can’t wait for what’s next.
