Hello everyone! It's Monday again, I hope you have been recharged from the weekend where most of us get to have our rest day and do the things we usually love doing.

Weekends are best spent with family. When my Mama and sister were still here in the city, I always make sure to have quality time during the weekend by taking them to nice places nearby every once in a while.

One weekend, I wanted to take them again to a place where I know can entertain them and me as well. So I thought of taking them to High Street in BGC because I know, every week they have this idea of putting different themes being displayed for everyone to enjoy.

We were kinda excited about what they were up to that weekend. When we arrive at High Street and read the huge signage written The British Festival, we were all delighted because we knew we'll get to have a glimpse of the different British stuff and some of the must-see London attractions here

They have showcased here some of the famous structures in Great Britain. My family and I enjoyed strolling around the street and saw some of the replicas being displayed in one place.

During our quality time spent here, these are some of the popular structures and iconic landmarks that Great Britain is most known for;

The Stonehenge

Known as a prehistoric monument and has been a historical landmark in England, they have made a replica of Stonehenge that was displayed here for everyone who was not able to go to England and see it in person.

The Big Ben

This cute Big Ben, one of England's famous iconic landmarks, has found its perfect spot to stand proud for everyone to see. Though it may not be as big as the real Big Ben, it has told us a big story about its rich history.

Abbey Road

For this weekend, we get to experience a walk across the iconic pedestrian crossing in Abbey Road which was made famous by The Beatles in London. And while looking at its replica here, I could even imagine hearing "Here comes the sun", one of the band's famous songs, playing in the background. What a cool experience that was!

Iron Throne

As soon as we passed by the iron throne from that famous American fantasy drama inspired by the novel, Game of Thrones , where most of the iconic settings took place in the United Kingdom, my Mama requested to have a picture of her sitting in this chair, to feel her majesty 😁. And I was happy seeing her smile as I knew she deserve it.

Police Public Call Box

They also included a replica of Police Telephone Boxes which can be found in the city of London and Westminster. According to Great Britain's history, this was built in the early days for the people in public to contact the police. Up to these days, these are no longer operational but are still well preserved as a nostalgic reminder of the days long before mobile phones took over.

Those were the glimpse of Great Britain during our weekend stroll in BGC. A great weekend was well spent with my family. My heart was so happy as I was again, able to take my family to this place where they surely enjoyed, and we were able to make another "great" memory. And indeed, it has given me a relaxing weekend and was able to energize me to face another exhausting weekday.

I hope everyone will be blessed with great weekdays to be able to do all the things we are tasked to do for this another work week.

Have a great day everyone!
