Hello everyone! I am again delighted thinking that it is finally the weekend again and that I can again find time to relax and be recharged.

But before Saturday comes, Friday has been, as usual, a very busy day. Allow me to share with you how I simply deal with all the stress in the office earlier.

It's not usual for me to go out during our office break in the afternoon, even if we are allowed to go out for a couple of minutes. Every day, when the clock strikes 3:00 PM and the bell rings as an indication of the break time, you can usually find me at my office desk, not even in the pantry, sipping my cup of coffee that I made for myself.

But later this afternoon, two of my officemates approved me and asked if I would like to join them to take our break by going to a bistro that sells varieties of foods near our office and spending a few minutes. They said they were so burnt out from tons of work, catching deadlines, and getting everything done by this week that she somehow needed to go out and unwind. And then I came to think that I also needed that for myself, so of course, I joined them.

The name of the bistro is TAKOYATEA. Before sharing with you what's inside, let me just tell you a fun fact I have been passing this little eatery every day for more than 3 years now, ever since I was transferred to this project site because it is very near to our office, but it was my first time to come here and order something for myself.

Now let me proceed, as we enter the place, these are what we got;

The interior design

I liked how they have a simple design inside. The wooden ceiling design and tables and chairs are what make it look cool. A simple decoration that gives a pleasing and relaxing ambiance.

They also have displayed framed images beautifully hung on the wall. At first glance, I thought they were paintings but when I took a closer look, these images are crochets. I love the Japanese girl's displays, they add aesthetics to the place, adding a more comfortable feeling to everyone while inside the place.

And then the foods

There were varieties of food to choose from. They have here an all-day meal, salad, pastries, and varieties of beverages to choose from depending on your cravings.

But the spotlight in this bistro, as these are their best sellers, (as obviously why they named this eatery such name in the first place) are the takoyaki and milk tea, with also a variety of flavors. My officemates and I decided to buy this snack.

I ordered a combo snack of ham and cheese-flavored takoyaki and Okinawa-flavored milk tea which cost me 88 pesos ($1.53) and 6pcs of beef siomai for 69 pesos ($1.21), which for me is a very affordable price. Yeah, I was not that hungry. Haha!

It was also my first time eating takoyaki and I did not know what they call to the topping they sprinkled on it but it added a delicious flavor. The cheese makes the takoyaki creamier. I also liked the beef siomai because the taste was not so salty and I could taste the beef with every bite. For the milk tea (though I am not really into drinking milk tea), I enjoyed every sip of it because it was not very sweet and the taste of tea (which is the main reason why I don't drink milk tea often) is not very strong.

After we were done eating and have a quick moment of happy chatting and laughing over different stuff while spending a few minutes in the nearby bistro to relax, we came back to the office with our stomachs full and our hearts happy, without carving so much out from our wallets.

Have a great weekend everyone! I hope you also fill up your tummies with a happy meal for a happy life.
