Each year, Earth elementalists went off to compete in the contest, leaving Obsidian to train the next generation of warriors. She wished to join the contest of champions, but the village elders advised her against it, saying she needed to stay behind and focus on training others to use Earth magic.

I would like to share my battles using OBSIDIAN. She is a Earth splinter Summoner from Chaos Legion edition.

I will share my battle by using her in my scholarship account so I could have experience using her in the higher level league and battle.

Let's go through the detail of this Summoner first.

	+1 magic attack	Earth	Taking into account the ruleset and monster options that I had. I chose to use Earth splinter. I used Obisidian as Summoner and a combination of melee, magic, ranged attacks, and no attack monsters in my lineup. Since the mana limit or capacity in the battle is only 22 then I need to choose my monsters wisely.

1st	Hill Giant	Stun	Hill Giant lv6 has 2 melee attacks, 2 speeds, and 7 health. Besides his great stats, he also has stun ability. He is worthy for only cost 3 mana. He will be a tank to cover his allies.
2nd	Chaos Agent	Dodge & Phase	Chaos Agent lv 6 has 3 speeds and 2 health. He also has dodge and phase abilities that have a chance to evade all kinds of attacks. I put him in the second position as the 2nd tank to cover his allies.
3rd	Venari Scout	Dodge & Opportunity	Venari Scout lv 6 has 2 melee attacks, 3 speeds, and 4 health. He has 2 great abilities which opportunity and dodge. He will target and attack the opponent's monsters with the lowest health.
4th	Regal Peryton	Flying	Regal Peryton lv5 has 2 magic attacks, 6 speeds, and 7 health. He has flying ability. he has a high chance to evade the melee and ranged attacks from the opponent's monsters except for the magic attack monster.
5th	Queen Mycelia	Protect, Amplify, Triage	Queen Mycelia lv 3 has 1 Magic attack, 1 speed, and 4 health. She has protect, amplify, and triage abilities. She is the key monster in this lineup. She gives armors to the allies and heals the back-line monster that taken the most damage.
6th	Acid Shooter	Scattershot & Cripple	For the last 2 mana, I chose Acid Shooter. He has 2 ranged attacks, 3 speeds, and 4 health. He also has scattershot & cripple abilities. He will target and attack the opponent's monster randomly.

ROUND 1

The opponent used the water splinter.
The opponent's lineups are Bortus lv4 (Summoner), Diemonshark lv4 (1st position), Furious Chicken lv1 (2nd position), Elven Mystic lv4 (3rd position), Pirate Captain lv5 (4th position), Pirate Archer lv4 (5th position ), and Halfling Alchemist lv1 in the last position.

Round 1 started with buff and debuff process by both team as follows :

Regal Peryton attacked first and managed to give 1 damage to Diemonshark in the first position.
Pirate Captain tried to attack Chaos Agent but missed.
Acid Shooter managed to kill Furious Chicken.
Halfling Alchemist attacked Hill Giant and managed to reduce Hill Giant's attack with his ability.

Comment :

I didn't expect the opponent's will use Bortus as the summoner.
Luckily, I had combination of monsters and did not focus on the magic attack.

ROUND 2

Diemonshark managed to kill Hill Giant at the beginning of round 2.
Acid Shooter managed to kill Halfling Alchemist.
Venari Scout tried to attack Diemonshark but missed.
Pirate Archer managed to kill Chaos Agent.

Comment :

The battle is still going on in a draw where both sides leaves 4 monsters at the end of the round 2.

ROUND 3

Pirate Captain tried to attack Regal Peryton but missed.
Venari Scout tried to attack Diemonshark but missed again for the second time.
No monsters die until at the end of the round 3.

ROUND 4

Diemonshark managed to kill Venari Scout at the beginning of round 4.
Acid Shooter managed to kill Elven Mystic. After Elven Mystic dies, the Regal Peryton's attack back to normal in which 2 magic attacks.
Queen Mycelia managed to kill Diemonshark at the end of round 4.

Comment :

After Diemonshark was killed, the next round will be a slow killing process because the opponent only left 2 ranged attack monsters and 1 of them couldn't attack anymore because in the first position.

ROUND 6

Regal Peryton managed to kill Pirate Captain.
Acid Shooter managed to kill Pirate Archer and ended the battle.

DID MY STRATEGY WORK?

Yes, my strategy is working effectively.
Luckily, I didn't focus on the magic attacks because I didn't expect the opponent will use Bortus as the Summoner and adding Elven Mystic with Silence ability.
Monsters from old editions are really unpredictable with their abilities. This is a big challenge for the Chaos Legion edition user.

CONCLUSION

Before Chaos Legion was released, Mylor was the most used Summoner from the Earth Splinter. This moment had changed due to Obsidian's presence.
