Today is CoinMarketCap’s Five Year Anniversary and to celebrate they released an IOS app. You can now more easily check market capitalizations. According to CEO Brandon Chez, "The space has really evolved in the past five years and so have we, so we thought for this anniversary, it would be nice to do something big for our users." The most useful feature is your Watchlist where you can add your favorite cryptocurrencies for easy referencing. They will eventually be adding ways to sync your Watchlist among various devices. You can purchase the app for free on the iTunes Store, but be aware there will be a few adds.
Coinmarketcap also premiered a new logo and site design as well as an upgraded API. They are currently the 174th most visited website globally and have 60 million unique visits this year to date. With these new changes, they are only bound to become more popular. Considering how crypto is growing, our need for them is as well. I'll definitely be trying this app out. Will you?
