As the week comes to a close, here comes a new challenge from @liketu, this time the main question is "What do you obsessively collect?". This is a pretty tough question because I collect and have collected an awful lot of things among other things:
- Pokemon cards, which I've had since I was a kid mostly are second editions from 1999,
- Shoes, where in my collection are still in very good condition Jordans V Oreo from 2013, I briefly considered whether to also show shoes like
@elmerlin but I decided that maybe another time will be an opportunity,
- NFT, which I started collecting not long ago. Mostly I currently have hivepunks but in my collection I also have a few other nfts from splinterlands
I also used to collect coins and stamps, but today I would like to focus on something my girlfriend showed me. These are Funko POPs - cute figurines depicting characters from games and movies. We have gathered a small collection of figures from Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Star Wars and Disney's fairy tales.
Currently we have collected figures from Game of Thrones:
- Tyrion Lannister no. 1,
- Mounted White Walker no. 60,
- Yara Greyor no. 66,
- Childern of the forrest no. 69.
From Harry Potter, we currently only have:
- Hermione Granger no. 57
From Disney fairy tales we managed to buy:
- Bo Peep no. 524,
- Pumbaa no. 550.
The last group is Star Wars figurines, but apart from POPs we also recently came across brickheads, which we also bought and currently have:
- Baby Yoda,
- Mandalorian,
- Rey no. 307.
What's interesting I've also recently found out that there are NFTs from Funko POP, which you can buy on WAX platform. Currently, two versions of Big Boy and TMNT have been created. To be honest I don't know what to think about it yet, if the creators just want to earn on hype, or maybe NFT is supposed to have some function in the future.
