I've been away for a while
Hi, unfortunately, due to a very large number of duties I have not been able to write lately and probably only at the beginning of February I will return to writing regularly, however, in connection with today's opening of the card packs of the newest addition to the Splinterlands I decided that I will show off the best cards that I was able to get.
My new cards
Due to the fact that the CHAOS card packs on hive-engine have gotten very cheap, I decided to buy 9 packs for 30 HBD, I think it's a really good deal considering that the packs themselves can be bought on the Splinterlands website for $4. In general, I managed to get a lot of common and rare but I also got two gold cards and a couple of epics.
Let's start with the epics:
As you can see below these are not incredibly expensive cards but I think they may gain some strength in the future. I also find buying packs myself to be a lot of fun to open as well as a lot of fun to use so I don't have to rent cards for silver.
1. Forgotten One x2 ~ $2.5 per one
2. Temporal Master x2 ~ $0.75 pre one
3. Insidious Warloc ~ $0.77
Time for gold cards
Here, unfortunately, are two gold cards that are not epics or legendaries.
They may not be amazing, but their total value is always $5.
Summary
In conclusion, even though I only spent $30 I think the opening did not pay for itself, keep in mind that I still had to purchase additional potions. However, I do not give up yet and I think to open 50 packs next time. Maybe then I will be lucky. Another idea would be to dig cards from the market, but the whole game is based on luck, so I can't resist to hit some legendary card myself.
