Well, I may not have my health but at least I have my productivity. I wrote far too much today on social-emotional learning (I don’t like it, it’s bad science and worse from a philosophical perspective) and then got around to the book on libertarianism, where I spent some time working on the appendices where I suggest additional reading materials.
I heard that Madeleine Albright died today. It’s interesting, because two years ago I would have said “that’s so sad” and bought into the hype but now I look at it like “you know, I don’t want her dead, but she was certainly an awful person.”
I’m not sure what that says about me. I’m certainly disagreeable and don’t make bones about it, but I also think that anyone who said that the death of five hundred thousand children was “worth it” (regardless of what “it” is) is proof of the total depravity of man. I guess we can hope she found Christ, which is about as wonderfully passive aggressive a sentiment as one can achieve.
Not a lot of physical activity. Got bloodwork done for some routine testing and to check for potential reactions to gluten, which should be a nice way to at least potentially limit my stuff.
Still not feeling well, though.
