Do you believe in a force that elevates the soul beyond the body and thus be able to have an astral trip?

Per my belief, one force that can cause the separation of the soul from the body is death. I believe when someone dies, his soul leaves his body and waits at the appropriate place for Judgement from God for his or her deeds on earth.

Additionally, I have read and listened to the testimonies of several repented individuals who used to be occults. They claimed that they could take countless astral trips by causing their souls to leave their bodies through a special meditation to meet their grandmasters for assignments.

Aside these two, I do not know of any other.
