Today we live in a general public that is persuaded there are no total good realities. It not just considers the Bible obsolete and insignificant to contemporary issues, but in addition considers each to be as allowed to choose what is correct. Subsequently, our way of life is corrupt, unethical, brutal, and egotistical. How are we as Christians expected to live in such a domain?
We need look no more distant than the case of a young kid named Daniel, who had the boldness to represent his feelings amidst the debased air of Babylon. In spite of his inundation in Babylonian culture, he focused on following the Lord loyally, regardless of whether doing as such would cost him his life. The issue of eating routine may appear to be insignificant to us, however Jewish individuals of his day thought eating meat that had been offered to symbols was a horrifying presence to God.
In the cutting edge Western world, we may think that its difficult to identify with Daniel's model. Maybe a couple of us are eager to take such an intense stand despite the fact that we have no dread of losing our life. It's the risk of dismissal, disparagement, or being viewed as intolerant or judgmental that keeps us quiet. Or on the other hand more terrible, it might be that we don't have any solid feelings since we haven't let God's Word create them inside us. Obliviousness of Scripture may give us a chance to live easily in an evil culture, however it will never satisfy the Lord.
God is searching for individuals like Daniel—supporters of Christ who will remain by their feelings, paying little heed to dangers or the compulsion to bargain for benefit or acknowledgment. Is it accurate to say that you are such an individual?
