A Teenager in LA Hosted a Sperm Race Using Real Samples and Data, and Over $300K Was Bet on the Results

This 17-year-old guy, Eric Zhu, put together this wild event in LA called a “sperm race.” Basically, guys submitted sperm samples that were tested for how well they swim, and the results were turned into a kind of flashy competition with betting and big screens.

It was supposed to be real data, but most of the footage looked animated, so it’s hard to tell how legit it was.

Still, people bet over $300K on it! It’s all tied into this new wave of interest in fertility and boosting birth rates, especially for men.
