The Quiver ~ A MonoMad Post

I'm posting this image for the daily #MonoMad photo contest created by @brumest and curated by @monochromes. The picture was taken at the recent Surf Rodeo in Ventura, California. If you squint, you can see a surfer paddling out on the right, wearing a cowboy hat. That's right, competitors wore different colored rash-guards and cowboy hats to identify them to the judges. Every board in competition looked similar and had a "surf rodeo" sticker on the top and bottom, leading me to believe that the entrants used specific boards for the contest while their boards waited patiently in the quiver, so to speak.
