I dusted off my camera today and took it along to J Jill, a woman's clothing store, where my wife had to return a top because it smelled like chemicals. I wandered around taking pictures, like this macro shot of necklaces that were "20% off today". I remarked to one of the employees that I was surprised they weren't saying anything about me taking pictures, and she said that if I had asked, they would have said "okay." Before their store was remodeled, she went on to say, teachers used to bring students to the store to photograph the ceiling. I would like to know what that ceiling looked like.
I'm posting this image for the Macro Monday theme in the Deranged Photography Contest curated by @derangedcontests. I'm posting in the amateur tier.
