2Tim.3 Verses 16 to 17
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Right from the beginning of creation, God never intended that His word comes and returns void without fulfilling a purpose it was send for.
So God said let there be light and there was light at the utterance from God's mouth. See Gen. 1: 3
I will like us to quickly note that the word of God is not empty as our words are but the word of God carries life and spirit. Jesus said the words i say unto you, they are spirits and the are life. See John 6:63
If the words God speaks to us are spirits and life it therefore means that God's word is not just a sound or noise as our words are but that it is a life carrying container.
There has never been anything in the world truthful and will never be like the word of God and if He says yeah, He will see to it that the yeah is fulfilled to the later.
Paul speaking to Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:15, admonish him to study the word to show himself approve a workman that needs not be ashamed but rightly dividing the word of truth.
Every time God sends His word to us and we accept it with sincerity of heart, God seek to do four things via the word He has send to us.
First is that He desires to teach us His ways. He wants to teach us the way things are done in the kingdom that we may begin to walk like Him
The Next thing He does is that He wants to reproof (repremand, admonish or rebuke) us from our evil ways because He is a good father.
No good father on earth will silently watch his child walk into the way of destruction and he doesn't repremand that child.
God is a good father who doesn't want us to be destroyed rather that we should grow in full knowledge.
The Third thing God does in our lives through His Word is that He corrects us when we make mistakes and show us better ways of getting things done in Him.
Lastly, He instructs us just to bring out the best in this our earthly vessel of jar called the body.
Value God's word and God will value you.
If the only way we can show reference to God is by paying attention to the things He says in His word, then lest's go ahead and do it.
Jesus speaking said if you continue in my words, then are ye my disciples. So God measures our claims of being His disciples by our consistent following of His word.
God's word is all we need, it is the ultimate requirement for our christian faith.
