I'm really excited today and can't wait to quickly show you an insect I found :)
Honestly, this is the first time I have found this beetle in its resting place on the leaves. This beetle is quite calm, and doesn't move enough even when my hand pulls out the leaves on its bed to make it easier for me to aim, because when I hunt it's a bit windy.
Looking for references about this beetle, google provides information that this is Hoshihananomia perlata, Pintail Beetles of the family Mordellidae.
From the front, at first glance, this beetle looks like a Botana fish :)
However, a little misjudgment. I thought this beetle would fly to save itself, but while I was having fun taking pictures this beetle dropped itself into the weeds and disappeared there.
