Interesting to see them walking him down the path. We don't see much manual carrying of caskets anymore here, mostly rolling on stretchers. I know that the act of burying gives some folks closure (or that's what they've been conditioned to). However, I find the act of burying to be past it's time. Do we really want our last visions of a person to be that in a coffin? Do we really want all these dead bodies and bones rotting away in our fields? This has become more problematic in the more populated areas. More a fan of nice pictures of the person in life as memory and then cremation or even a nice Viking funeral pyre myself.
