Gosling is one of my favorite actors today. This is a great merit of how well he chooses his roles. Nice Guys, Blade Runner 2049, La La Land or at least Blue Valentine... an incredible streak of success considering he's been in dozens of productions over the past 9 years, of which only 4 were relatively poorly received. tell me that Gosling can't play, I'd show the scene from La La Land where Sebastian tells Mia about jazz. Gosling plays there brilliantly and with a lot of passion that really pours out of him in this scene where he tells her about this musical genre.
