The script for a typical Liam Neeson movie is as follows: the bad guys do something that upsets his character, so he decides to kill them. This picture has hardly changed. Years go by, Neeson announces from time to time that he intends to end his career as an action movie star, and nothing like that happens. The actor himself is surprised that at 69 he still has many job offers.
Every now and then Liam Neeson hints that the next two or three action films with his participation will be the last in his rich career. This was the case, for example, in 2015, when he predicted that he would work for two or three years on the set of films in which he plays the role of a lonely hero. It's 2021, and two more such films have already been shown in cinemas: "The Honest Thief" and "The Marksman".
