Lovers of Good Music on Hive!
This is another week in our lovely Afri-tunes Community, a community that fosters and spreads love on Hive blockchain through our African Tunes and music.
This is week 31 of our musical event in the Community.
Ironically, I set off to present a song titled "Smile for Me", but I ended up being sad and angry.
You wanna know why?
Have you been in a situation where after recording about 20 times you were able to get 5 different somewhat "perfect" layers of videos. But, when it was time for you to synchronise the audio, electricity immediately goes off. Not just that, your laptop which normally works with battery (not necessarily with Electricity), immediately develops romantic love and special affection for Electricity, and goes off with it (So technology also fall in love?)
In other words, you've gotten the perfect audio-video, but before you saved the work, your Laptop went off. And when you switched it on, everything was cleared!
Like, EMPTY!!!
TABULA RASA - A CLEAN SLATE!
It wasn't a funny experience at all. In fact, I didn't want to continue again because I knew how difficult it was for me to get a somewhat perfect video in the 5 different layers.
However, I picked up my remaining courage, switched on the Generator and continued with the recording. This was why I struggled to smile, unlike the first set of recording where the smiles came out uncontrollably and freely (hahahaha).
For this week, I chose the Afro-beat song "Smile for Me" by Simi, a Nigerian musician.
For me, this song appears to be a song from a heart that loves his/her partner so much that he/she can do anything for the partner. The heart seeks validation, mutual and reciprocated love, so much that it offers to be the world and to do anything for the other. Infact, the heart offers to die for the other.
Does this kind of love still exist?
I wonder!
Well, let me leave the Lovers to keep on loving, and let single people like me focus on my guitar and play.
