Sadly, I've been on Hive for two years (active for 1 year) but I haven't participated in the Hive Power Up Day. Probably, because I am always out of Hive Liquid or I don't have the required minimum Hive liquid for participating in the event on the D-day.
As at last month's Hive Power Up Day event, it dawned on me and I was like "mheeen! I need to step up my game.
Surely, I've been participating in Leo Power Up Day for 5 months nonstop, maybe because my Leo author reward, Curation reward and contest reward stay in the liquid side so its easier for me to power up without purchasing in the DEX. But, this is quite difficult for Hive since the Hive rewards get powered up instantly. Well, except I make use of HBD to purchase Hive.
However, I decided to join the HPUD this first day of the year to ensure that I remain consistent and true to this course.
☆ MY 2022 HIVE REVIEW
Yesterday, I came across a tweet on Twitter directing meeee to check out my Hive Recap via the link https://recap.hivemeetup.online/. It was quite easy and the result is absolutely correct. I must commend those who created this platform. Don't be afraid, you don't need to put in your keys.
I think I'd use this to summarise my 2022 on Hive.
Current Reputation: 65.5 - Yea, I hope to reach 70 within this week as it all depends on the graciousness of you all, my lovely Curators.
HP Claimed: 1,867 - I did some power down at some points to sort out some pressing needs which my liquid currencies and money in the bank couldn't solve. Most of which was to help others... in all, I'm glad Hive came through to solve the need.
Hive Power Up: 1 - In as much as this is funny, I tried my best not to power up the little I had in case I needed to liquid Hive. This would reduce the need to power down. Well, this happens when you actually use part of your reward from Hive for sustenance.
Posts Created: 293 / 43.1% videos - Interesting to know that I created 80% of 365 days. Although, it shouldn't be calculated as 293 days because sone days I created 2 or 3 posts in a day. (3 was rare). As a musician, my video percentage is pretty awesome, you know.
6833 Replies - This may not be the best of reply number, but it represents 18.7 comments daily.
Top Three communities: Hive Open Mic, Hive Learners and Leofinance. Definitely, these are the top three communities I posted in last year.
Hive Open Mic Community helped me get in tune with Hive. I learnt a lot from this loving musical community in terms of Engagement and creating quality musical content.
Hive Learners Community is a wonderful home for all content. The tri-weekly themes from the community enabled me create creative content.
Leofinance Community is my wonderful finance community that impacted a lot in me and enabled me understand more about Blockchain technology, Cryptocurrency and life.

I had an initial HP of 1,488.954. So, I powered up little 11.046 Hive to give a round figure of 1,500 HP.
I've begun my year with a Hive Power of 1,500.
☆ MY HIVE GOALS FOR 2023
In as much as I'd love to triple my bag before the end of 2023, I am open to any possibility. I'll try my best to do this, but at the same time I'd try not to power down at all cost.
