So much
Yea, So much can happen within a short time, and if you're not careful it could shatter you for a life time. Sometimes the turn out of events can be so devastating that you begin to feel your in the middle of the red sea and its closing upon you. Suffocating you to a miserable death, just as it did to the Egyptians of old. Well carved out plans could go so wrong that you begin to doubt the usefulness of planning. It seems whether you plan or not it results to failure. So why even plan?
You do not want history to repeat itself so this time you became proactive. You try to cross all your T's and dot all your I's. The plan wasn't executed perfectly but you felt nevertheless its going to lead to a smooth endeavour. Alas! After all the haste and craze, bustle and hustle you find yourself in a scenario where history just repeated itself. The disappointment and pain is so overwhelming that you quicken your steps as you head towards solitude. Not to enjoy tranquility but to cry out your misery. The taste of your tears proves to you, you couldn't avoid what you sought to avoid. Like you were destined not to have a smooth sail. Yet you're a person who do not believe in destiny. So was the fault all yours? Your mind becomes a nomad, wandering around the circles of the many "if only if". Yes! If only this happened and that didn't happen. As tears flow from your eyes you are forced to face your reality and your wishes can not change anything. You feel miserable and very empty. You begin to seek for help. Those who can help you are people you have not called for a while. Why will they help? You swallow your guilt and pride, and ask for help. Kindly they choose to help. Giving you a shade of hope. At home you kneeled and prayed to your God. You start recalling your sins, as you try to trace which of them God is punishing you for.
Finally help comes and history didn't exactly repeat itself, rather a new story was written in your life. Your pain turns into gratitude towards those who helped and your creator. Your misery becomes a lesson and you try to trace the morals God wanted to teach you from your ordeal. Your very much relaxed and feel everything will be alright. On your remaining journey you faced some little challenges, but you shrugged it off, life is filled with up and down. Its normal.
Alas! At that final moment when all you needed to do, is like the last piece of a puzzle, everything went south. Things took an unfunny turn. You used all your options but they led to point zero. Your so close to the end but you feel, putting an end to it is now close to imppossible. Still, quiting is not an option. Thus you emerge on a blind Journey trusting just your guts as you seek for help again. On your way you force a smile on your face, whenever you see an aquintance. You can't let them know your worries, afterall people have had worries even when the Pope was still an altar boy. Finally help is found but the whole ordeal has become so suffocating that once again you cried. Tears needed to answer nature's call.
At last! you can end things once and for all. The end came, you succeeded. But the success brought no feelings to you. Neither gratitude nor pain did you feel. You could not even genuinely sigh. An expression of relief. The ordeal has devoid you of any emotion. Your just cold and calm; like a vampire that has turn off its humanity.
Yea, so much can happen in a short time.
