I’m not sure people are capable of understanding the origins of the universe/creation and all that jazz. It’s probably all related to dimensions we have no good way of understanding or testing.

I hate snobby atheists that shred people for their beliefs. Literally just as bad as the religious oppression.

When my religious friends ask why I’m not religious I always tell them that “I’m not sure that I’ve found the answer that works for me but I hope I do.”

Because as you said, it'd be a whole lot easier than dealing with the dread.
