Tired. My night at work was long. (I work as a firefighter/paramedic. It's a 24-shift).
The XRP news was cool. I too was taken back to my last XRP reflection. I was in the camp of XRP just screams pseudo-bank token. I always wondered why banks wouldn't work on this technology themselves. I guess it was because the state wanted to make their own coin. In any event I'm not trying to rain on someone's parade, I just don't see unique utility.
I digress.
The XRP news is big for the "is it a security" debate. Especially for those like me who are actively building things, but scared that a public release might trigger the SEC into throwing me in prison. So far, I've only published a paper in an academic journal, and currently continuing the work. Makes me hopeful that I may be able to make a few pennies for a whole lot of work, in an effort to make crypto useful to the world.
