A nice article and an impressive app. Bold innovations like this is always welcomed and easily embraced in dare times like we are right now. The world is desperate for a cure for the COVID-19 virus. And while we are patiently waiting, any new tech that will stop or reduce the level and number of infections is a good one.

However, going by the announcements of the WHO, concerning the symptoms, viral characteristics and clinical treatment — few symptoms have been attributed to the virus which are; coughing, sneezing and high temperature. I am curious how this app would detect that a person has the virus. Is the algorithm designed to catch temperature or any of the above symptoms. This part is not in your article.
