Hi guys, how are you doing today, Happy new week, and I hope you had a great weekend.
I've not been able to make and art work for some days cos I've been busy with school assignment and my birthday was on the 5th of Feb which was the last Saturday 😁, But now I'm back😊.

So our lecturer gave us an assignment on the title "THE RETURN"
After thinking about it for a day and half, I finally decided on what I wanna talk about and how I wanna paint it.
ABOUT THE PAINTING
The main title I gave this painting is "THE RETURN OF OMOLUABI", "OMOLUABI" is a Yoruba word for a good child, the whole concept talks in opposite of the prodigal son, it talks about a man who left his parent house under the pressure of meeting their expectations and need by neglecting his very own needs and what actually makes him happy, it talks about the youth of this century forced to do what they do not want, spending their whole life chasing after the dreams of others while theirs slowing fades aways, putting a happy face just because he doesn't wanna look weak to those who sees him.
The work give voice to the voiceless.
