Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This will be Week 222 Edition 01 of our Weekly Featured Content.
Made With Canva
So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week, which is “PUNISHMENTS”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “FREE WILL”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, telling us their thoughts on free will and how much of it we actually have in society. We live in a society of the free, but many times, when people decide to do something of their own free will, they could end up being ostracized.
We got to see that there are indeed limits to freedom and expectations placed on every human being. And once those expectations are met, everyone would be happy and free, but if, for any reason, things change, then there would be a problem. This was an enlightening topic, indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w221e3 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there, it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors, will be listed below.
FREE WILL AND THE SOCIETY by @intishar
For this author, he told us that nobody can really judge us because no one can truly know or understand us. The rules are made for normal people, and they are designed to protect the free will of everyone. Because once one person’s actions begin to disrupt the freedom of others, it becomes a problem.
THE SLOW DEATH OF FREE WILL: HOW FEAR CENSORSHIP AND SILENCE CHANGED A COUNTRY by @idksamad78699
*For this author, he told us that despite living in 2026, many of us aren’t even sure if what we live and experience is free will. Because almost everything now is censored, and actually utilizing one’s freedom could end up making them lose their freedom for real. This is the slow death of free will in modern civilization.”
FREE WILL IN A WORLD FULL OF RULES by @nkemakonam89
This author told us that we do have free will, but it’s only to an extent because some decisions we make can have repercussions that end with us losing the little freedom that we have. We all have free will, but in the end, it all depends on us how we choose to live it in contrast to all the rules and standards imposed on us by society.
All of the above contents were supported by our official curation account lazy-panda with an extra amount. The first 3 authors will receive 100 ECENCY Points [ Sponsored By Ecency Team (
@melinda010100) ] and 1 $PANDAMINER each as a reward next Monday. These posts were selected because of their special attention to detail and how they followed the topic. There were a lot of good ones out there, but we just could not pick them all.
But then, we have some honorable mentions listed below:
FRE WILL OR SOCIAL PRESURE by @bhattg
DOES FREE WILL TRULY EXIST? by @vickoly
These are posts that were also found to be quite exceptional.
PUNISHMENTS
“Do punishments work? Everyone in the world today knows that committing a crime will most likely land them in prison, and depending on the severity of the crime, they could end up going there for the majority of their lives, or they could get a life or even a death sentence! Yet, many people still choose to commit a crime. Is it that the punishment is just not enough to deter people from engaging in crime?”
