In 2013, Rockstar Games released a game that would change the gaming industry forever. Grand Theft Auto V wasn't just another open-world game. It became a global phenomenon.

On its first day alone, GTA V generated more than $800 million in sales, and within just three days, it surpassed $1 billion, becoming the fastest-selling entertainment product in history.

We explored the streets of Los Santos through the eyes of Michael, Franklin, and Trevor. We pulled off heists, caused chaos, raced through the city, and created unforgettable memories with friends in GTA Online.

What nobody expected was that this game would continue to dominate for more than a decade. Released originally on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, GTA V later arrived on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Each generation of players discovered Los Santos for the first time.

Today, GTA V has sold over 225 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling video games of all time.

But numbers don't tell the whole story.

GTA V gave us laughter, unforgettable late-night sessions with friends, incredible missions, funny glitches, endless roleplay, and memories that many of us will never forget. For millions of players, Los Santos became more than just a virtual city. It became a second home.

Now, as the world prepares to welcome GTA VI, it is time to say goodbye to a true legend.

Thank you, Rockstar.

Thank you, Michael.

Thank you, Franklin.

Thank you, Trevor.

And thank you, GTA V, for 13 incredible years.

You were not just a game.

You were a part of our lives.

Goodbye, Los Santos. The road to Vice City begins now. 🎮❤️
